S.Coop, apart from developing new techniques in assembly,
also participates with local R&D Centres and with the other
companies that form part of the Mondragon Tooling and Systems
Division in the study of innovations applicable to our
products.
The work undertaken on the different
projects allows industrially developing and introducing new joining
and assembly systems. The following are some examples to be mentioned:
- Roller hemming systems, putting into practice
notions in terms of maximum quality and productivity, not only
for steel but also aluminium.
- Simulation of the behaviour of the sheets
in the hemming process.
- Assembly by laser technology.
The internal training policies guarantee
that the technical personnel and engineers have training and knowledge
of the new applied technologies. |
